Where you can play
There is no public download yet. Ethereal Ascent is in closed playtesting, and the people testing it are members of the Discord community.
A public demo and a Steam release are both planned. You can follow their progress on the roadmap.
Early access testing
Early access testing is planned, and Discord members will hear about it first. The more active the community is, the sooner and better it will go, so the best time to join is now.

- Say hello and let me know you would like to test.
- Watch the announcements for new builds and test requests.
What testers do
- Play new builds before anyone else sees them.
- Report bugs, saying what happened and what you were doing at the time.
- Tell me what feels good, what feels frustrating, and what you want to see next.
Ethereal Ascent is built by one developer, so every report and suggestion matters.

- Do I need testing experience?
- No. If you like games and can describe what happened, you can help.
- Which devices does it run on?
- The game is built for PC, and touch controls are built in for testing on touch devices. A Steam release is planned (to be confirmed).
- When is the public demo?
- There is no date yet. Follow the roadmap and Discord for news.
